The cross-station coordination challenge

Electric-vehicle inspection coordinates operator displays, powered actuators such as motors and cylinders, warning devices, and multiple digital and analog measurement signals across stations. Any inconsistency between station states directly affects the continuity and safety of the inspection sequence.

A three-layer system architecture

Cartesy organizes the line into display, control, and measurement layers: the display layer presents station status and test results, the control layer schedules actuators and warning devices, and the measurement layer acquires digital and analog signals.
